Good video game recorder besides fraps?

I recently downloaded a program called fraps that takes screenshots and records what I do in game but the bad thing is that without registering u can only video record up to 29 seconds and registering fraps costs money and I was wondering if there were any programs similar to fraps that would be free... Can u help me?
